Brief Description:  Left wing fuel tank part #10

I modified the inboard rib as per DWG 16A using the man killer. I marked the flop tube anti-rotation bracket onto the T-407, which was then clamped and the holes for the nutplates match drilled. (#40 and #21)

Once matched drilled, I countersunk the T-407 for the bracket rivets and set that in place. I then moved onto countersinking the T-407 to accomodate the dimples on the rib. Once everything was done, I deburred all the pieces and then clecoed the encapsulated nutplates to the T-407 and riveted them using 3-4.5 flush rivets

The encapsualted nutplates were purchased from Wicks Aircraft Supply (www.wicksaircraftsupply) and the part number is NAS1473A08. I highly recommend these as it will eliminate any leaking of fuel through the threads of the nutplates.

On another note, I picked up a pair of used Airfoiled Grive gear tonight on Ebay. I got them for $610! Regular price from Grove is $1995.00. I have 30 days to make sure there are no issues with them.
